Court with Judge Davis

The Honorable District Judge Michael Davis presided over the Leon County District Court Thursday, September 27th, in Centerville. Also, in court to represent the state, were Leon County District Attorney Hope Knight and Assistant District Attorney Keith Cook.

Kevin Dewayne Robinson plead guilty to a charge of Burglary of a Habitation. Robinson will be fined and will receive credit for time already served. Attorney Stanley Sokolowski represented Robinson.

Kealyne Jahmar Durham was arraigned on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Durham, who is being held in the Leon County Jail, entered a not guilty plea. The attorney for Durham is Raymond Sanders.

Michael Shane Gates failed to appear in court for his arraignment on a charge of Kidnapping. The judge ordered Gates?s bond revoked and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Jon Allen Kelce failed to show up for his arraignment on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. The judge ordered Kelce?s bond revoked and issued a warrant for his arrest. The attorney for Kelce is Daniel Burkeen.

Crystle Dawn Baker was in court for a Motion to Revoke her probation. Baker has been on probation for Burglary of a Habitation. The state made allegations that some of the terms of the probation have been violated. Baker entered a not guilty plea to those charges. The attorney for Baker is John Bankhead.

Demarcus Devontrey Sherman was in court on a Motion to Revoke his probation which he has been serving for Assault of a Public Servant. Sherman, who is being held in the county jail, plead not guilty to the state?s allegations that he has violated the probation. The attorney representing Sherman is Raymond Sanders.

Amber Rose Morgan was in court on a Motion to Adjudicate her probation on an earlier conviction of Possession of a Controlled Substance. The state has made allegations that Morgan has violated the terms of the probation. Morgan was taken into custody; her attorney is Justin Reed.

Dustin Kyle Baker was in court for a pretrial hearing in his case. Baker is charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle. The attorney for Baker is Chris Martin. Baker is currently free on bond. No pretrial motions were made; Baker?s next court date is October 31st.
