Court with Judge Davis

Leon County District Court was held Friday, July 25th, in the Centerville Courtroom. The Honorable District Judge Michael Davis presided. In court to represent the state were Leon County District Attorney Hope Knight and Assistant District Attorney Keith Cook.

Tristan Wayne Neason plead guilty to the charge of Burglary of a Habitation. Neason was sentenced to 17 years in Texas Department of Corrections Jail. Neason must also pay $325 in Restitution.

Steven Charles Crow plead guilty to a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to the time he has already served. The attorney for Crow was Hutton Ask.

There were no pre-trial motions made in the case against Jonathan Cain Powell who is charged with Intoxication Assault with a Vehicle with Serious Bodily Injury. The attorney for Powell is John Bankhead.

No pre-trial motions were made in the Aggravated Assault case against Erica Diann Guy. Guy?s attorney is Joel Hardy.

Michael Shane Gates failed to appear in court for his arraignment on a charge of Kidnapping.

A waiver for the arraignment of Michael Langley was filed. Langley is charged with Obstruction or Retaliation.

Kevin Dewayne Robinson failed to appear for his arraignment on a charge of Burglary of a Habitation. The attorney for Robinson is Stanley Sokolowski.

Travis Lee Willis was in court for a Motion to Adjudicate in the case of an Indecency with a Child. Willis was also arraigned on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Willis entered a plea of not guilty to both charges. The attorney for Willis is Chris Martin.

No pre-trial motions were made in the Burglary of a Habitation case against Aaron Jerrell Bennett. The attorney for Bennett is Raymond Sanders.
