Perry’s Small Engine Repair

Shirley & Carroll Perry

This week?s travels down old 75 took me south of Buffalo to a bittersweet meeting with the new owners of Perry?s Small Engine Repair.

Carroll and Shirley Perry reopened the business 5/29/2019 after a 2 ? year business closure due to the passing of the original owner and my friend, Don Perry on 11/2/2016. Don and I started school together in Texas City and through the years stayed in contact.

We had many good discussions about our growing up days and the status of mutual friends and acquaintances as he quickly and expertly repaired my equipment. Don always did excellent work and prided himself in properly taking care of his customers on a timely basis.

In the 20 plus years Don operated his small engine repair shop I NEVER heard anyone complain about his craftsmanship nor service. He was a strong community supporter and participated in many civic events and often displayed his singing and guitar playing talents at these sessions.

Carroll is Don?s nephew and based on his credentials in the areas of automotive, small engine, machine shop, and electrical training will quickly ?pick up the torch? and have just as many pleased customers as Uncle Don in the not too distant future.

Carroll and Shirley are a team and have organization plans to provide optimum service and expert repair work on a timely basis for Buffalo and Leon County residents.

Perry?s Small Engine Repair is open for business Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Bring your lawnmower, pressure washer, weed eater, generator, chain saw, tiller, and/ or other small engine equipment that need repair and / or maintenance to their shop. You will get a frank, fair, accurate appraisal that will not leave you hanging or confused.

We certainly miss our friend, Don but are very pleased about the future of Perry?s Small Engine Repair and welcome Carroll and Shirley Perry to Buffalo, Texas.
