4 Jacks Pawn Burglarized

On April 15, 2019 the Buffalo Police Department was dispatched to Four Jacks Pawn Shop in reference for an alarm. Upon arrival Officer G Moliere observed the west window had been broken out. Once inside Moliere saw a rock on the floor which was used to break the window.

The in store video was reviewed and you could see an unknown person enter the store through the broken window and take three weapons and leave the store all within a minute.

On April 16, 2019 Officer G Moliere was making his rounds and while at the Pilot Truck Stop an employee approached him telling him that a car at the pumps had been there for about an hour. Moliere approached the vehicle and when he saw the driver of the vehicle he recognized and Moliere knew he had warrants for his arrest. Moliere asked for backup from the LCSO and when the deputies arrived the driver was arrested for the warrants and the passenger was also arrested for warrants.

During the inventory of the vehicle clothes matching the burglar that had broken into Four Jacks was found in the vehicle and the three weapons that were stolen were also found in back seat of the vehicle.

Because of Officer Moliere?s awareness he was able to solve this burglary and apprehend the suspect. The suspect was taken to the LCSO and booked for unlawful possession of a firearm, criminal mischief, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A warrant will be issued for burglary of a building.
