On May 24, 1931 in Weimer, Texas, Mr. & Mrs. Joel Cooks became parents to a daughter in which they named Pearlie Mae. As a young child she accepted Christ. She was well known for her dedication and singing in the church where she received worldwide recognition by the National Enquirer.
